Shared shuttle from Geneva Airport

Our partner Skiidy Gonzales offers transfers in shared vehicles with 8 or 13 seats. They guarantee a departure from the airport within 60 minutes of your arrival at their meeting point (Skiidy Gonzales desk in the Swiss side arrival hall) during the winter season, and within 120 minutes during the summer season.

Their logistics team monitors flight schedules and adjusts transfers accordingly. In other words, if your flight is delayed, our partner will automatically rebook you on another vehicle.

Private transfer from Geneva Airport to Avoriaz

Our partner Skiidy Gonzales also offers private vehicles for a faster and more comfortable transfer. Each vehicle can comfortably accommodate 8 people, and multiple vehicles can be arranged for larger groups.

Parking for your stay in Avoriaz

Avoriaz is a fully pedestrian resort: no cars circulate within the village. Parking is only available at the resort entrance in designated covered or uncovered lots.

Covered parking

The covered parking lots are monitored 24/7 and offer 1,730 spaces, including 6 charging stations at the Plateau car park.

Avoriaz has three secure covered car parks, accessible 24/7:

• Falaise car park: ideal for quick access to the Falaise district, with 300 spaces (max height: 1.90 m) and direct unloading on the square.

• Proclou car park: 540 spaces, connected to the Falaise car park, same height limit (1.90 m).

• Plateau car park: the largest with 860 spaces, max height 2.30 m, perfect for vehicles with roof boxes. It allows direct unloading at your parking spot and access to the terminals via elevators.

Uncovered parking

Open-air car park with 900 spaces, located 300 meters from the resort entrance. This parking area cannot be reserved but is monitored 24/7 and offers snow shovels if needed.

Park your car at the foot of Avoriaz and take the cable car

Leave your car at the foot of the Avoriaz cliff and take the cable car for a fast and scenic arrival in the resort. The Prodains Express cable car takes you to Place Jean Vuarnet in just 4 minutes. It runs daily during the winter season, with frequent departures from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s the ideal way to avoid traffic and parking issues in the mountains. Park your car safely at the Prodains car parks, then load your luggage into the lift for a ride up to 1800 meters altitude.

Are all types of vehicles allowed in Avoriaz car parks?

Yes. Avoriaz car parks accept most personal vehicles, including SUVs, 4x4s, and electric cars. For oversized vehicles, please contact the parking service in advance to check compatibility.

Can I choose my own parking spot?

No, public car parks operate on a first-come, first-served basis with no assigned spots. However, our agency offers a few private spaces in the covered car park, which can be booked along with your accommodation.

Which covered car park should I choose?

All car parks are convenient, but we recommend the Falaise car park if you're staying in that neighborhood. If your vehicle is tall or has a roof box, opt instead for the Plateau car park.

How far do I have to walk to reach the center of Avoriaz after parking?

The covered car parks are located at the entrance of the resort. To reach your accommodation, shuttles or horse-drawn sleighs will transfer you from the terminal to the heart of the pedestrian village. If you prefer to walk, luggage sleds are available and it takes about 5 minutes on foot from the car park to the center of the resort.
